OUR BEGGINNING…
CSVT has been set up primarily with the aim of providing financial assistance for under privileged people for providing basic amenities, education, medical facilities etc. The trust also aims to encourage and create awareness about blood donation.

OUR MISSION…
To raise general awareness about Blood Donation and Prevention of AIDS to all sections of the society regardless of Caste, Creed or Religion. The CSVT is a registered, non-profit motive trust founded on Jan 20th 2002. CSVT aims to provide health care and financial assistance to those who have ailment and so not have the wherewithal to seek medical attention.
 

OUR ACTIVITIES…

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS:
The trust helps poor people from all over India by giving them contributions ranging from Rs.3000 to Rs.10, 000 towards education, Eye surgery, detection and treatment of diabetic and heart related problems. Up to December 2006, we have helped more than 500 under privileged people.

SCREENING CAMPS:
The trust regularly organizes screening camps in schools and colleges for early detection and diagnosis of Kidney, Heart, Dental and Eye related problems. Such camps facilitate timely treatment of any major ailments.
OUR MOTIVE…
The trust mainly concentrates on encouraging Blood donation. Because every second, a patient needs blood across the country. But availability of blood is too meager to meet the huge emergency needs. From the total volume of population, only 1% to 2% of blood is received through donors. So our trust regularly conducts Seminars, Exhibitions and Publish articles about the importance of blood donation.

SCHOOLS OUT - REACH PROGRAMMES…
The trust regularly organizes talks in schools and colleges for creating awareness about blood donation and also about AIDS and the symptoms to look out for, their prevention and early treatment.

PUBLIC EDUCATION…
The trust aims to contribute to this movement by arranging talks/lectures at schools and colleges to educate people about the concept of blood donation and inculcate in the spirit of giving.

OPEN HOUSE AWARENESS PROGRAMS…
The trust regularly conducts open-house meetings and awareness programs on Traffic rules and regulations, Human rights, Police and Public friendliness.

AWARENESS RALLIES…
The trust regularly conducts awareness rallies on Pollution Free Environment, Tree Plantation, Rain water harvesting, Prevention of breaking of pumpkins on the roads, Importance of Breast feeding, AIDS awareness and so on.

EXHIBITIONS…
The trust regularly organizes Exhibitions in schools, colleges and public places by displaying useful information charts with photographs on the importance of Blood donation, Breast-feeding, Pollution-free environment, etc.

COUNCELLING TO SUICIDE ATTEMPTERS…
The trust is facilitating counseling for dejected and frustrated people for emotional support and preventing them from suicide attempts.
